As a small government contractor, we were surprised at how much time we were spending searching online for materials to be used in our projects that complied with The Buy American Act (BAA). We founded this website to help contractors identify and purchase these items.
Many government contracts include the clauses Buy American Construction Materials or Buy American -- Construction Materials Under Trade Agreements. This means that you as a contractor must use materials that meet the requirements set forth in the FARs.
